Veteran’s Breakfast 2018!

You have served this country honorably! Now let us serve YOU!

Greenlawn was honored to have Veterans and guests for breakfast on November 9, 2018.  They were served breakfast by 5th and 6th grade students, listened to a performance from Mr. Downey’s 2nd grade music class, and 2 songs were performed by Mrs. White’s Greenlawn Elementary Choir.  We would like to say thank you to all of the Veteran’s for their service.

Student Council Food Drive Begins

Each year, the B-G community works together to gather food and hygiene items for our holiday food baskets. Student Councils in each building help coordinate the collection of supplies. Everything from turkeys and stuffing to shampoo and toothpaste are being collected to give to families who need a little extra help this holiday season.

Your child can bring in canned and non-perishable items to the collection bins at school. Peanut butter, canned soup, mac and cheese, and granola bars are just a few of the things that we ask for. Donations will be collected until mid-December.

If you would like to make a monetary donation or larger item, please leave a message for Ms. Hardy or Ms. Nickerson at the high school, 967-6323, and we will return your call as soon as possible.

Congrats to Nick Petrutoni!

The high school is excited and proud to announce that it now has our own clothing store for students! Put away those Kohl’s discount coupons, because everything in here is free! It is all gently used, and washed by volunteer staff and students.

Here at BG we believe in recycling, and caring for each other, and giving back to the community! It’s the Bobcat Way, and The Bobcat Boutique Clothes Closet does all of that!!

The Closet will be open every day during school hours. Students can visit it by asking for a pass during study hall, breakfast or lunch. It is located in the tech building, upstairs, next to the study hall classroom. There will be signs.

Every student is welcome to shop!
