Music Awards - Senior Recognition Night!

Wednesday, June 5th,  the music department celebrated 40 senior musicians at our Senior Recognition concert.  It was a huge class that has had a tremendous impact on the music program, and we will certainly miss them. As is the tradition at BG, many of our students excel in so many different ways and reflect the strength of a faculty, staff and community that is dedicated to provide many opportunities for our students to be successful.

Hatching Chicks

Ag Club Produces!

Very successful hatching day at B-G and a very busy day for our chicks! Eleven out of 14 eggs hatched successfully. Students enjoyed watching the process and visiting with the chicks. We were very fortunate to have the eggs donated to us by Katy Kemmeren, a B-G Alumna!  Thanks to the LP Program for hosting the hatching!

Hydroponic garden is producing nicely. The B-G Ag Club tomatoes are ripening!! With battery powered pollination we were able to have tomatoes set fruit indoors without the work of actual bees! This week, BG enjoyed a tasty snack of homegrown tomatoes, fresh basil and mozzarella. It was made with the cherry tomatoes started from seeds that germinated in the hydroponic system in Mrs. Scherhaufer’s room! Thank you Mrs. Scherhaufer for hosting Ag Club's hydroponic grower this year to grow our tomatoes and lettuce!
