Thank you for visiting the Transportation page of our website. We strive to keep your children safe and to arrive on time. Please be courteous and stop for buses with their red lights on and stop signs out. The opportunity for something bad to happen is incredibly high at this point. In addition, the fine is up to $500 and 5 points on your license if ticketed.

Please stay safe and be careful! We wish you a successful 2023-24 school year.

Bus Safety

It's "Back to School" time. School buses are back on the roads, and students are walking along the side of the road and waiting for buses. Please watch carefully for children near school buildings, in areas where school buses are traveling or where there are signs for school zones or bus stops. Remind your students to listen to the bus driver, follow the bus rules and safe crossing procedures.

Parents and Students – PLEASE Use crosswalks and sidewalks! DO NOT WALK between the buses. For the safety of ALL students, parents are reminded to use authorized “drop off” and “pick up” locations.

Remember that if you are approaching a school bus from either the front or behind, and it's yellow lights are flashing, the bus is preparing to stop.

If the buses red lights are flashing, YOU MUST STOP. It's the law! This includes school buses that are:
• on the opposite sides of divided highways
• on multiple lane roadways
• in parking lots
• on school grounds.
NOTE: The only exception to this law is if the bus driver or a police officer signals that you may pass the bus. Copyright 2003, NYS DMV, Office of Internet Services

Bus Routes

Please note run times are approximate.

All times are approximate so please be ready at least 5 minutes before and keep watching for 10 minutes after your projected pick-up time. Weather, traffic, deer, students and maintenance issues can all cause variables in the schedule. We strive to be punctual and at your pick up point at the same time every day but occasionally things happen. Please be patient. Feel free to call the Bus Garage at 967-6324 if you have any questions. Have a safe and educational school year!”

Special needs bus run times are not included.

Transportation Info

Transportation Procedure!

To streamline procedures and minimize confusion to students, parents and drivers, students will be allowed to have two designated “drop off” locations, one primary and one alternate, during the school year. Drop off locations for EMERGENCY CLOSINGS ONLY may be different than the regular school day. Students must be picked up at the same location each day and dropped off at the same location each day. Those two locations may be different. This means they can be picked up at one location and dropped off at another, but the schedule must remain the same every day.

Additionally, if you need to make a request for a transportation change such as moving to a different address, transportation forms must be submitted to the Bus Garage and will take 24 hours to process.

A transportation change for your child to ride a different bus from school needs to be made in writing to the child’s school or the bus garage and received before 9:00 am. Please keep in mind that it is not a guarantee that your request will be honored as there are many variables to take into consideration, such as seating availability, route changes and health issues.

Questions can be directed to Superintendent Tim Ryan at 607-967-6321
