Candidates for substitute teaching positions can complete and submit the Employment Application - Teachers.
Candidates for non-teaching (support staff) positions should should complete the Civil Service Application.

Transportation
Mechanic
Position: Mechanic 
 
Department/Building: Transportation
 
Full Time – 12 Months – 8 hrs./day
 
Start Date: ASAP
 
Salary: Negotiable depending on experience.
 
QUALIFICATIONS
Must have abilities to diagnose and repair diesel and gasoline engines, transmissions, hydraulics, automotive electrical systems, air conditioning, brakes.  Experience fixing large vehicles with air brake systems.  Knowledge of DOT Inspection for school buses preferred.  Applicant must have the ability to work alone and with others.  CDL Class B with P&S endorsement required or the ability to obtain within 120 days of appointment.  Must meet civil service qualifications.
 
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain school fleet and records, prepare vehicles for DOT inspection.  Occasionally fill in driving a school bus.

Substitute Teacher, LTA, and Aide Requirements
How to read this chart. If you have a Teaching Certificate, Bachelors Degree or Associates Degree, you can sub in any job title. If you have a HS Diploma, you can sub as an LTA or an Aide, but not a Teacher. For all Sub Titles in Grades 7-12, candidates must be out of High School for at least two years.

Great part-time job opportunity! Substitute Bus Drivers needed for Bainbridge-Guilford CSD. CDL B with Passenger and School Bus endorsements required but will train correct individuals. $27.38/hr to start. Pre-employment drug test required.
