The Dignity for All Students Act (DASA was established to protect all students from harassment, bullying and discrimination. It became effective on July 1, 2012 and was amended to include cyberbullying effective July 1, 2013.
All employees of the Bainbridge-Guilford Central School District receive training in the identification, reduction, and prevention of bullying and or harassment behaviors.
Students in grades K-12 receive instruction in civility, citizenship and character education including honesty, tolerance, personal responsibility, respect for others, observance of laws, courtesy and dignity.
Parents and guardians play an important role in recognizing and reporting issues regarding bullying and/or harassment. Please contact your child's building DASA Coordinator, or administrator if you have concerns or questions. The Bainbridge-Guilford School district believes it "takes a village" to raise our children to be productive and caring citizens.
