Student Access to Email and GOOGLE Classroom

Parents and Students, while we are out of school, we would like students to log into their school email accounts so Teachers and Counselors can communicate with them. From a cell phone or digital device, go to bgcsd.org (B-G Website) then go to the “Parents/Students” link in the middle of the screen. Scroll down to “Student My Apps Log-In” and click that link. Students will then be prompted to enter their username (first name.last [email protected]) and the password they use to log into school computers. This takes students to their My Apps Suite where they can then access their email by clicking the “Bainbridge Office 365 Mail”.   Students should check their school email daily and are encouraged to check Google Classroom, which is in the My Apps Suite under “Bainbridge Google Classroom” for invites from their teachers. If help is needed please use the following resources:

Student and Family Technical Support

  • Beginning on 3/25/20 BOCES will increase their capacity to answer phone calls from parents and students at (607) 766-3800 in need of technology support.  Please note that parents and students will be asked to confirm their identity by verifying the students name, building, grade and date of birth before any changes to account information (i.e. password resets) are made.  All calls will be logged and the building principal will receive an automated email with the details.  This way if the issue is something that is unable to be resolved remotely by SCRIC staff (i.e. lost Chromebook), the principal will have the information to help address it.
  • BOCES Technology Support has also created a School Closure Technology Support for Students and Families website, which can be accessed HERE This page gives families information and assistance on how to utilize MyApps, Google, Schoology and other remote learning tools while students attend school remotely.

For those of you without internet access or digital devices we are working on a plan to make those available to you.

Jr.-Sr. High School Pick-Up of Students at Dismissal

Due to severe traffic congestion and pedestrian safety, picking students up on Juliand Street will no longer be permitted. Students must be picked up at the Soccer Field Parking Lot behind the Jr-Sr High School. This parking lot can be accessed via Terrace Hill Road off of State Rt. 206 or Pearl Street to Tyler Street which becomes Prospect Street, then left on to Jericho Road and then a right turn into the parking lot. Your patience and understanding with this procedural change is greatly appreciated and we thank you in advance for your cooperation. Please call Jeremy McKenna, Transportation Supervisor, at 967-6324 with any questions you might have.
