Congratulations to the BGA Girls’ Indoor Track Team who took 1st place in this year’s Section IV Indoor Class C/D Championship. They defeated all 26 of the Section IV teams at the meet to win their 2nd sectional championship in three years. Ethne Degan led the way with three individual 1st place finishes in the 3000m, 1500m, and 1000m runs. Teammate Makayla McCloud took first place in the 55m dash. Other B-G girls placing in the top 6 of individual events were: Olivia Hall, Clare Sullivan, Emma Beames, Maddie Ingham, Emily Sprow, Olivia Nichols, and Tori Suda. Other teammates contributing with top 6 relay performances at the meet were: Vanessa Brazee, Macaela Burns, Breanna Casey, Macey LaFever, Sage Pruskwoski, and Laila Williams
The BGA boys’ team placed 4th out of the 26 Section IV class C/D teams. Boys leading the way with 1st overall finishes at this meet were Collin Dicks in the long jump and Julian Pruskowski in the triple jump, each placed in other events as well. Other B-G boys turning in top 6 finishes to help the team were: Harpo Hardt, Kevin Lang, and Easton Porter
