In addition to the canoe paddle Adirondack chairs you will see around Bainbridge next month, the Jericho Arts Council has added wooden canoe paddles to the Bainbridge Art Trail. These are five of the canoe paddles that were painted by B-G high school students, all with different interpretations of the theme ‘Bainbridge’. These paddles will be on display at the Street Art Fest on April 29th in downtown Bainbridge and in store windows around Bainbridge for the month of May. They will be auctioned off at the General Clinton Canoe Regatta on May 27th.

B-G Students Invited to Attend Career Day at Amphenol image B-G Students Invited to Attend Career Day at Amphenol

On Thursday January 5, 2017 at 10 AM a few select college and high school students were invited to attend a “Career Day” at Amphenol Aerospace. Students had an opportunity to learn about the company, the different departments, and the Amphenol culture. The goal is to provide students with a clear understanding of what it would be like to work in one of the departments here at Amphenol Aerospace. Students were invited to take a tour of the facility.

Guidelines for receiving an invitation to Amphenol Career Day required an interest in one of the following fields: Marketing, Materials, Engineering (Mechanical, Design, Electrical, Chemical, Industrial, Manufacturing), Quality, Operations, Human Resources, Accounting, Customer Service, Sales and Information Technology.
